My role often expands to not only include standard clinical intervention, yet also the provision of education, quality improvement, counselling and patient advocacy.<\/p><p align=\"center\">As a result of my passion for working with individuals with aphasia (language difficulties following a brain injury) I am also completing a doctorate at the University of Queensland targeting the successful implementation of aphasia best practice.<\/p><p align=\"center\">I have contributed to the coordination of the inaugural Australian Aphasia Camp held on the Gold Coast in February 2021.
